Do What You Want

DOB 5/15/2011

15.3 Hand AQHA Dun Gelding

$40,000 Firm

Here is a true, down to earth, trail and ranch horse that is completely finished in the arena as well.  Do What You Want is a 2011 registered AQHA gelding that stands a very solid 15.3 hands tall. He is by Skip N Rawhide who goes back to the six million dollar sire Hollywood Dun it which needs no introduction and is out of Chex Shining Shadow who goes back to the 4 million dollar sire Shining Spark whose record is not easily forgotten. This handsome gelding has some reining training and has one fast turn around and a good stop, but his main purpose was being that safe all around horse for the family to enjoy and ride. He rides just as well without a bridle as he does with one!  This incredible once in a lifetime horse is also finished in all the tricks and fun stuff!  He was used for all areas of the ranch from gathering cows, to roping calves and his best job was taking care of the children down the trail. He is a great size and can carry a lot of different riders. He has three awesome gaits and has a great neck rein too. He will go in an English saddle or a western saddle and even is a joy to ride bareback as well. He is smooth and gentle and is easy for anyone of any level to ride and get along with. He loves to please and will go out of his way to please you. With his awesome dun color and zebra stripes down his legs, he will surely get you noticed wherever you take him. He has been on several trail rides and will come right off the trailer and tie quietly to the trailer while you get ready to go. He has no problem leading or following and will ride easy right off the farm. He will go over creeks, rivers, and cross over any type of bridge. He is good to ride in traffic and has been around a lot of different farm animals and seen different ones on the trail. He is that solid citizen type of a horse that you know that you can let sit for a couple days or weeks and get him out and he will always be a wonderful horse to take out for a ride.  We purchased this gelding mainly to use ponying at the track which he handled and was great at, however we have relocated to Ohio and no longer need all the pony horses.  He is absolutely safe for any level rider in the arena and on the trails.  We've had several people contact us looking for a horse in the 4 figures and that is definitely not this guy.  He is a high end horse that at the bigger sales would bring high 5 figures.  He is priced in the mid 5 figure range so if you are serious about having a safe fun guy feel free to contact us!
