About Twilight Farms
At Twilight Farms, we specialize in offering quality horses and ponies that are not only beautiful, but truly broke and family-friendly. With over two decades of experience matching the right equine partner to the right rider, our program is built on trust, honesty, and hands-on training — not shortcuts.
We focus on producing and selling well-rounded horses and ponies with solid foundations. Many of our horses are trained to ride and drive and know fun tricks that make them enjoyable for the whole family. Each horse is thoughtfully exposed to a wide variety of environments, including trails, arenas, traffic, and real-world ranch situations, creating calm, dependable, and versatile partners.
Our program serves a wide range of buyers. From beginner-safe ponies and confidence-building family horses, to select all-around mounts with additional training and polish, we take pride in offering thoughtfully matched partners for every stage of a rider’s journey. We also work privately with buyers seeking something more specialized, offering select horses through a personalized, off-market process.
At Twilight Farms, we are known for our repeat clients and long-standing relationships. We believe a great horse is just the beginning — strong foundations lead to lasting partnerships.
Our Program
The majority of horses and ponies offered for sale at Twilight Farms are our own. On occasion, we may also offer select horses owned by a trusted trainer within our program. These horses are not taken in on consignment and are not outside training horses. Every horse marketed through Twilight Farms is fully developed, handled, and evaluated within our program and held to the same standards of training, care, and suitability. We do not take outside horses in for training, consignment, or resale.
Purchasing & Farm Policies
We welcome visitors by appointment and encourage buyers to come meet and try horses in person. Horses may be tried in the arena and on the trail when weather permits.
We do not offer payment plans or off-farm trials. We accept most forms of payment, including credit cards for an additional fee.
All horses are sold as-is, and all sales are final. Every horse leaves our farm fully vaccinated, dewormed, and current with farrier and dental care. We strongly encourage buyers to ensure any horse — whether purchased from us or elsewhere — is the right fit before moving forward.
Behind Twilight Farms
Kristin Mulhall is the owner and operator of Twilight Farms, bringing more than two decades of hands-on equine experience to every horse and pony in her program. Her background spans high-level performance riding and professional racehorse training, including competing at the Grand Prix level in show jumping. Early in her racehorse career, Kristin trained and ran a horse (Imperialism) to a third-place finish in the Kentucky Derby, becoming the youngest female trainer to have a horse compete in the race at just 21 years old.
That depth of experience shapes the foundation of Twilight Farms today — a program built around correct training, real-world exposure, and thoughtfully matching horses with riders for long-term success.
