Meet Banjo — a striking 4-year-old 37.5” buckskin and white paint gelding with a unique look and the kind of quiet, family-friendly disposition everyone hopes to find. His coloring is truly one of a kind and hard to categorize, but whatever you choose to call it, there is no denying that Banjo stands out everywhere he goes.

 

Banjo has spent the past year being enjoyed by three small children and has proven himself to be a dependable and trustworthy little pony for them. He has the ideal combination of size and temperament — stout and big enough for the bigger kids to continue enjoying while still being gentle, quiet, and manageable for the smaller children as well.

 

Banjo has a very solid foundation both riding and driving. He has been ridden extensively around the farm and is content to quietly carry the kids wherever they want to go. His kind nature and steady personality make him an enjoyable pony to have around every day.

 

In harness, Banjo has seen plenty of real-world experience. He is traffic safe and has been driven by the children themselves on both main roads and quiet back roads as well as out on the trails. He handles traffic confidently and has proven to be a safe and reliable little driving pony for the entire family to enjoy.

 

Adding even more fun to this handsome gelding, Banjo also knows how to lay down— something the kids always love.

 

An added bonus is that we will also be offering Banjo’s younger brother, who is slightly smaller but very similar in coloring and type. Together, they would make an adorable matching pair for someone looking to build a fun little driving team.

 

Banjo is being proudly offered on consignment for our neighbors, but has been through our same program.
