Butterscotch – The Cutest Little Buckskin Pinto with a Big Personality!
Butterscotch is a gorgeous 5-year-old, 33” buckskin pinto miniature gelding who is absolutely packed with personality. He is the true definition of an “in-your-pocket” pony—extremely friendly, affectionate, and always eager to be involved in whatever you are doing. He loves attention, follows his people everywhere, and has a confident, slightly cocky personality that makes him both entertaining and fun to have around.
Because Butterscotch is so people-oriented, his over-the-top friendliness may not be the right fit for everyone. He enjoys treats, but when he is frequently hand-fed, he can become mouthy and begin searching hands and pockets for more. He does best with someone who will establish consistent boundaries and avoid overindulging him with treats. With those boundaries in place, he is an incredibly lovable pony who genuinely enjoys being with his people.
Butterscotch is wonderful with children and makes a fantastic lead-line pony for the tiniest riders. He is patient and confidence-building on the lead line, but he also rides independently and is comfortable carrying small riders around the arena or yard.
He also loves showing off his tricks. Butterscotch will easily lay down on cue and proudly sit on a bean bag, making him especially entertaining for children and anyone who enjoys a pony with plenty of character and talent.
In addition to riding, Butterscotch is a tremendous little driving pony who can be enjoyed by drivers of varying experience levels. He is willing, enjoyable to drive, and has been driven out on the roads, where he handles traffic calmly and confidently.
Butterscotch would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a talented riding and driving pony with a bold, affectionate personality. He is cute, clever, and full of character—but he needs a home that will appreciate his extremely social nature while maintaining fair and consistent boundaries.
