Candy is a stunning 12-year-old, 37.5” palomino mare with eye-catching chrome and the kind of presence that turns heads everywhere she goes. She is broke to both ride and drive and offers a rare combination of talent, beauty, and broodmare value.

Candy is very well broke under saddle and will lope around willingly and handle herself like a much bigger horse. She is experienced on the trails and is confident navigating logs, water crossings, and varied terrain. She has been ridden by kids and is very well trained, however we do not recommend her and are not selling her as a small child’s pony due to her mare-ish, opinionated personality.

On the ground, Candy can be intimidating and will sometimes pin her ears and threaten, even though she has never offered to bite or kick with us. We want to be very upfront about her attitude so she goes to a home that understands her personality and appreciates her honesty. With that being said, Candy does have a sweet side and once she bonds with her person, she truly becomes a fun and loyal pony.

In harness, Candy truly shines. She has countless miles driving on both quiet back roads and busier traffic areas and remains calm and confident in the cart. She is a fantastic choice for an adult looking for a flashy, capable driving pony with real-world experience.

Candy is also trick trained and knows fun crowd favorites including laying down and sitting on a bean bag.
