Pretty, Polished, and Perfect: Toast is Ready to Ride & Drive

Meet Toast — a stunning 16.3-hand, 7-year-old bay roan draft cross gelding (half Quarter Horse, half Brabant) who’s the ultimate combination of looks, temperament, and training. Toast is truly broke, broke, broke and rides like a dream. Trained for ranch work, he side-passes and pivots effortlessly, stops with a deep seat, and transitions smoothly through all gaits. He lopes off quietly on either lead, drapes the reins, and guides easily between your legs and hands.

Out on the trail, Toast is fearless and surefooted. He handles steep, rocky hills, thick brush, deep water, and bridges without hesitation — there’s nothing we’ve thrown at him that he hasn’t conquered. Previously used as a ranch horse in Texas, he’s roped cattle, started colts, and ponied young horses with ease. Whether you’re looking to compete in trail or ranch horse competitions, or you just want a trustworthy, gentle, and eye-catching partner to enjoy, Toast checks all the boxes.

To top it off, Toast is also well-trained to drive — he’s been out on the roads and can pull a fully loaded carriage with confidence and style. At the perfect age of seven, Toast is ready to move into his next chapter with a lucky new owner.
